Spring Creek MX Park in Millville, Minnesota sits on gently rolling farmland in the southeastern corner of the state, roughly two hours south of Minneapolis. Since 1982 it has hosted professional motocross, and the track has developed a reputation as one of the most rider-friendly venues on the circuit.
The Track
Spring Creek is built on smooth, predictable Minnesota soil that holds its shape well through both motos. The track flows naturally with the gentle topography of the farmland, featuring sweeping turns, natural elevation changes, and rhythm sections that reward commitment and flow rather than brute force.
The famous "Gravity Cavity" section — a dramatic downhill into a deep valley followed by an equally dramatic climb out — is the defining feature of the Spring Creek layout. Riders who carry speed through the bottom of the cavity and drive hard up the exit gain enormous time, but the section demands precision. One mistake there can cost a podium finish.
"Millville is where you just get to race. No gimmicks, no sandtraps, no altitude. Just good dirt and the best riders in the world."
— Moto, Moto Track GuideBack Half Positioning
At Round 7 of 11, the championship is entering its decisive phase. With only four rounds remaining after Millville, the points situation becomes increasingly urgent for anyone trailing the leader. Spring Creek typically produces clean, straightforward racing — which means champions consolidate and challengers must make their moves elsewhere.
