Jett Lawrence has done something in four professional seasons that most riders spend entire careers trying to do once — he has won championships. Four of them, in four consecutive seasons, across four different class-and-format combinations. The 250MX title in 2021. The 250SX East in 2022. The 250SX West in 2023. The 450SX in 2025. At 22 years old, he is already one of the most decorated young riders in the sport's history.

The 2026 season was supposed to be the beginning of a title defense. Instead, a fractured talus and navicular — sustained in a training crash at Dog Pound in Florida in late December — sent Jett to surgery before A1. The recovery timeline pushed him out of the first half of the season. His brother Hunter stepped up and has been leading the championship in his absence. The paddock has been watching for any news of a return date.

"Words can't describe how I'm feeling right now. I keep reminding myself that we have overcome challenges before, and this is no different."

The Jettson Brand

Off the bike, Lawrence has built one of the more distinctive personal brands in the sport. The Jettson line — characterized by donut imagery, smiley faces, and a generally irreverent aesthetic — reflects his actual personality. Where many riders project intensity and seriousness, Jett projects genuine joy. His social media presence has made him one of the most followed young riders in the sport, and his merchandise line has built a loyal fan base that stretches well beyond the traditional motocross audience.
